What a nice wedding to capture !
Gaurav & Connie's fusion wedding was gorgeous, colorful and a shutter bug's delight to capture. The traditional ceremony started in the morning with Groom on the horse and friends and family dancing to the dhol's beats towards El Sobrante Gurudwara entrance. The bride's side welcomed everyone after which they proceeded for traditional Sikh ceremony. This Gurudwara is situated on the top of a hill and affords some sweeping views of East Bay.
After the ceremony everyone drove to Claremont in Berkeley , a majestic hotel situated overlooking the San Francisco Bay with breathtaking views . The blue-and-gold décor harkens to the Claremont’s rich history, originally a romantic castle at the start of the Gold Rush and later a grand hotel during the Age of Romanticism.
The couple got ready in one of the suits at the hotel and then joined everyone in the Claremont Ballroom for the reception. A mesmerizing violin performance and foot tapping Bhangra were some of the other highlights of this beautiful reception.
A full day wedding, well planned and executed by Purvi Shah from Avant Planners.
Congrats Gaurav & Connie ! and thanks for trusting me to capture your special day.
